Who are we?
Set in the beautiful seaside village of Mumbles, Swansea, South Wales-two humans decided to combine their skills and make something a bit different. Not just “nice products,” but something fun, creative, a little bit rebellious… and actually meaningful.
Ashlea—co-founder, proudly neurodivergent—and her partner Michael are the brains behind Quirkea. It’s pronounced quirky, obviously… just spelled like Ashlea’s name, because why make life simple?
Right now, Quirkea is a growing collection of products designed with the neurodivergent community in mind. But that’s just the starting line. The bigger vision? A space packed with things that get it—fidget toys, books, fidget jewellery, and creations made by neurodivergent creatives, not just for them.
Got something that fits the vibe? Don’t be shy—get in touch at ash.quirkea@gmail.com and be part of it.
This isn’t just about selling stuff. The long game is bigger. Think charity partnerships, special collections where a slice of profits actually goes somewhere that matters, and even a checkout option so customers can donate if they want to. Real impact, not just good intentions.
It’s early days—scrappy, slightly unpredictable, and full of ambition—but the goal is simple: make Quirkea into something that gives back to the neurodivergent community in a real way. Not just profit from people, but build something that benefits them too.
Because if we’re doing this, we’re doing it properly.
